The goal
Create a single information system to overcome the fragmentation of statistical sources on Tuscany’s cultural sector, integrating open data and administrative information across two territorial levels: a comparison between Tuscany and other Italian regions, and an analysis of Tuscan municipalities by homogeneous and significant areas. Gather indicators on cultural endowment and supply, demand and attractiveness, consumption, public and private expenditure and the economic impact of cultural and creative businesses.
Our response
An interactive dashboard accessible from the IRPET and Tuscany Region websites, with tables, dynamic charts, territorial maps and two composite indicators on regional cultural significance and municipal accessibility. Full download of raw data in tabular format for custom analysis by researchers and public decision-makers.
Two territorial axes, six sector dimensions
UX design centred on two distinct territorial axes and six sector dimensions, with intuitive navigation enabling comparative queries between regions and Tuscan municipal aggregates. A responsive interface organising tables, interactive charts and thematic maps to make complex datasets from heterogeneous sources (ISTAT, CPT, Symbola) immediately legible.
From raw data to territorial insights
Built with a DataViz framework based on Angular, JavaScript, CSS and HTML to manage multidimensional interactive dashboards integrating heterogeneous statistical sources. Scalable architecture for fluid processing and visualisation of complex datasets across six sector dimensions, with performance optimised for multi-scale territorial analysis.
