Our response
A new UX/UI design, a browsing experience where the most important assets structure the entire website framework — from the flow of navigation to UI labels. A bold visual design characterized by vivid tones, with explicit references to the world of social media and the language of the younger generations who make up the primary audience of the Giovanisì site.
The most relevant information always front and centre
The Giovanisì project site is the result of a simplification process covering information architecture, navigation and the visibility of the content most sought after by users. The overall structure was streamlined to its essential components, while the UI was designed to be intuitive and supported by a lively graphic design integrated with the tone of voice Giovanisì uses in external communication, particularly on social media.
A stable, secure and future-ready ecosystem
The Giovanisì site was built on Drupal 10, adopting the latest open source technologies to deliver a stable, secure and easily scalable ecosystem over time. The CMS’s modular structure enables autonomous and streamlined content management, while the bespoke backend provides maximum flexibility in organising opportunities, events and grants — the informational backbone of the regional project. Development work covered performance optimisation (fast page loading, advanced caching, image optimisation and a server-side architecture designed for high-traffic peaks), accessibility by design (WCAG 2.2 compliance, accessible UI components, correct HTML semantics), integration with regional systems (interoperability with institutional platforms, dedicated APIs and automation for managing updates), a flexible data structure (taxonomies, filters and dynamic content enabling clear categorisation of opportunities) and advanced security (continuous monitoring, secure authentication, regular updates and a DevOps pipeline). The result is a fast, reliable site fully manageable by the internal team, with a technical foundation built to evolve alongside the future needs of the Giovanisì project and Tuscany Region.
