The goal
In shipbuilding, project management involves a multitude of actors: shipyards, designers, suppliers, technical offices and supply chain companies. Every phase generates documents, revisions, updates and information exchanges that are often handled through disparate, unintegrated tools. Fragmented data, duplicated files and the absence of a coherent information flow can slow decision-making, increase the risk of errors and compromise operational efficiency. DR&AM was born from the need to integrate tools and information across the entire project lifecycle, offering a single platform capable of centralising documentation and progress tracking, while guaranteeing continuity, traceability and collaboration.
Our response
DR&AM: a modular, accessible web app designed to support the integrated management of shipbuilding projects. The platform enables hierarchical and dynamic visualisation of the project structure, centralisation of technical documentation, real-time monitoring of activity progress, operational continuity in offline mode and collaboration between the different actors in the supply chain. DR&AM functions as a genuine digital project coordination ecosystem, capable of reducing information fragmentation and improving decision-making quality.

The content architecture was designed, defining a clear and scalable structure. The project’s visual identity was created, consistent with the technical and industrial context. The platform was developed according to modular logic, guaranteeing full accessibility from desktop and mobile. A project management system based on WBS (Work Breakdown Structure) logic was implemented for a hierarchical view of activities. An offline access feature was integrated, with initial content synchronisation to ensure operational continuity. A centralised document management system was built for quick retrieval of technical files, drawings, specifications and safety guidelines.

DR&AM guides the user through an integrated and structured experience, articulated in functional modules. A dynamic WBS-based dashboard enables visualisation of the entire project lifecycle, organisation of activities and sub-tasks, assignment of roles and responsibilities, definition of deadlines and real-time progress monitoring. Interactive visualisation promotes shared understanding of project status and supports coordination between the yard and the supply chain.

A centralised repository allows all project-associated documents to be stored and consulted: technical documents, drawings, specifications, regulations and safety attachments. Files are organised in a structured and searchable manner, guaranteeing coherence and traceability throughout the design and build cycle.
DR&AM enables shipyards and supply chain companies to integrate data from different software sources, reduce errors and duplications, improve coordination between actors, ensure documentation is continuously up to date and maintain a clear, shared view of project progress. The platform becomes a strategic tool for making the shipbuilding process more transparent, structured and efficient.
