The goal
Transform the ASA website into a tool that reflects the company’s operational complexity: management of the Integrated Water Service and gas distribution for 32 municipalities in the provinces of Livorno, Pisa and Siena. Rethink the information architecture to guide different users through services, communications and features, simplifying access to technical data, notices and commercial operations.
Our response
A new information architecture centred on two macro-containers: Integrated Water Service and Gas Distribution. Distinct navigation pathways allow users to identify their relevant services immediately. A complete homepage redesign with communications organised in three hierarchical levels: cross-cutting highlights, works news for maintenance notices and featured news for institutional activities and local projects.

Information architecture and user pathways
The redesign involved the entire site structure through a co-design process. The new UX/UI was designed to give immediate visibility to the defining elements: Integrated Water Service, Gas Distribution and the related user services. The homepage architecture was remodelled to give prominence to communications, distinguishing highlights, works news and featured news, so users can navigate between operational and institutional information at a glance.
