Net7 is a partner on two measures — 16.5 PIT Monte Pisano and 16.2 TIBEV — within the Regione Toscana Rural Development Programme 2014–2022, which supports the development of rural areas and the regional agricultural system.
The projects involved
- The 16.5 PIT Monte Pisano measure is a €3 million investment for the restoration of characteristic landscape features and the mitigation of hydrogeological risk across the Monte Pisano territory.
- The 16.2 TIBEV measure aims to realise the full potential of organic cereals — refining on-farm processing, with particular focus on the most valuable and commercially rewarding species and varieties, including through the design and construction of an innovative prototype and demonstrator for the production of plant-based beverages. A core economic objective of the project is to estimate the potential contribution of these new products to the integration of agricultural income — arising from the diversification of end products and the excellence of the specific outputs achievable through the new plant-based beverage production system and process — for the lead company and its network of organic farms, as well as for the organic cereal and legume sector in Tuscany, with particular reference to traditional ancient grains.
