Net7’s contributions across the three-day event dedicated to the theoretical and practical aspects of technologies applied to the social sciences and humanities
From Monday 8 to Wednesday 10 September, Net7 will be both a sponsor and an active participant at the 2025 edition of IEEE CH.
The IEEE International Conference on Cyber Humanities (IEEE CH) is an annual event co-sponsored by the IEEE Systems, Man, and Cybernetics (SMC) Society, dedicated to the theoretical and practical aspects of technologies applied to the social sciences and humanities (SSH) — encompassing art, cultural heritage, history, archaeology, linguistics and library science. The SSH are regarded as a critical and complex human-cyber-physical ecosystem requiring protection, enhancement and resilience for future generations.
Net7 will appear twice in the conference programme across the three Florence days.
On 9 September, as part of the Industrial Session (14:00–15:20, Session 17), Luca De Santis will present Net7’s recent projects in this specific field — covering work carried out for the H2IOSC project (funded under the PNRR) as well as ongoing European research initiatives, in particular the LUMEN and GRAPHIA projects.
On 10 September, a paper to which Net7 directly contributed will be presented (14:00–15:20, Session 28 (T7): The Critical Digital Edition of Giambattista Vico’s “Scienza nuova” in Scholarly Digital Edition — ID: 13, Alessia Scognamiglio, Roberto Evangelista, Manuela Sanna, Chiara Aiola and Luca De Santis).
