On 20 February 2026, Net7 stopped to restart. Five teams, five challenges, eight hours to transform an idea into a working AI product.
Putting your skills under pressure, within a defined timeframe and with a precise objective, to understand how far you have come and how far you can still go. Net7’s AI Hackathon was born from this conviction: not a training session, not a workshop, but a genuine development competition.
Five teams, each assigned to a real production track – European Projects and Big Companies, Public Administration, Nautical Services, Internal Productivity, Digital Humanities – had a full day to build an AI-based MVP, using real tools and data with no simulations.
The structure of the day kept the pace high from start to finish. The morning was dedicated to developing the “brain” of the product — the AI core to be made functional by lunchtime. The afternoon to refinement and frontend. Finally, Demo Time: each team presented their work in ten minutes, with a mandatory live demo. No slides, only products that actually run.
To evaluate the results, a jury made up of the Board of Directors, Sales and Marketing Manager awarded the prize of Net7’s first AI Hackathon to the team that developed the Public Administration solution.
